Cattle Flat Station

Cattle Flat Station is own by the Ewing Family. The station is 4,000 hectares with about 50 paddocks, the largest ones being up to 200 hectares. The farm has been divided up into paddocks and runs. It can be summarised as having steep faces and river flats. It borders Treble Cone Ski Area and the Matukituki and Motatapu River.

Cattle Flat Station has operated as a high-country farm since the 1800’s and in recent times it went through Pastoral lease tenure review, where some of the land has been absorbed into Conservation Park. A large-scale farm operates on the property running approximately 19500 stock units
